Brian Mallory Appointed to Board of Equalization

MEMPHIS, Tenn., September 1, 2009 – Brian Mallory, owner of Mallory Appraisals, broker with First National Realty, and a member of the Memphis Area Association of REALTORS, has been appointed to the Memphis & Shelby County Board of Equalization for a two-year term. Mallory assumes one of three positions on the Board that are chosen by the Memphis City Council. The Board serves as a dispute agency between property owners and the assessor, setting a value it believes is fair and equitable.
